Last week the Forbidden Root sales crew headed down to Florida, to share Fernetic, our Fernet-Branca collaboration beer. We had a blast bringing the brew to the South and judging some cocktail competitions.

It’s with much excitement we announce our next Love Handle: Solemn Oath Brewery! With every beer sold, we’ll donate $2 to our mutually chosen charity, Girls Who Code.
We’ll be open from noon to 10pm (kitchen will close at 8pm) on Memorial Day. We’re donating $1 from every glass of beer sold to the Semper Fi Fund. In addition, all profits from the sale of our non-consumable merchandise (growlers, t-shirts, etc.) will also be donated.

On May 5, our friends at Rumi Spice go up against the Sharks of ABC’s Shark Tank. Join us for a Shark Tank viewing party, wherein co-founders Kimberly Jung, Keith Alaniz, and Emily Miller seek funding to grow Rumi’s mission to sustainably source saffron in Afghanistan.
